20 Tyrolean guldener of 1486, issued by Sigismund, Archduke of Austria. These coins were the first large size silver coins issued in the West since antiquity. The size of these new coins prompted a revolution in the celator's (coin engraver's) art as rulers and engravers experimented with increasingly complex designs.
