Six livres coin issued by the‘Republic of the French’ highlighting the rule of law under the Constitution. Louis XVI and the French monarchy are dead. Note that the reverse of the previous coin has now become the obverse, replacing the bust of Louis. The reverse features the new dating system based on the foundation of the Republic in September of 1792.
